Narkel Bata Ilish (Hilsa with Coconut Paste)

Ilish.
My favourite amongst all the fishes . No matter which way you cook and present to me it will taste the best – provided the fish is good enough. It has been costly as a matter of fact, but when I get a good one in the market I ended splurging on it. I have cooked Hilsa in a number of ways previously and a good Hilsa never disappoints the end result. This one was prepared with Narkel Bata, Posto and Shorshey and then steamed.Needless to say, the end result was heavenly. My uncle especially loved it.
