When we had all thought that its going to be summer from then on, it suddenly turned cloudy last Saturday. The clouds remained and out fought the sun and then they ultimately reigned.
It had rained last Sunday and I had become wet to the bone.And all of a sudden, it was chilly, windy, rainy and cloudy.The thought of Khichri passed my mind but duly vetoed by the wife. So, we thought about some complex stuff and some simpler ones – but all the times keeping the weather in mind. It neeeded to be something that honoured the weather.
And we did honour the weather with Jeera rice – fresh and steaming from the kadai, onion rings and Punjabi Mutton Masala.The Jeera rice blended excellently with the Mutton. The soft and succulent mutton pieces simply melted in the mouth and the ghee flavoured Jeera rice was just what the doctor ordered.
